This cable will enable you to connect from a standard 5V USB-A port (such as power bank) to power most digital devices requiring 12V input (such as modems, routers and Wi-Fi devices).
You just need to connect this adapter cable directly unto a 5V USB-A port or power bank.
The internal electronics will step up the voltage to 12V on the DC output plug.
When power is out, you may use this cable with your power bank to most router, modem or Wi-Fi. Thus, you can still have internet, Wi-Fi connectivity.

Please note that if your 12V equipment cycles ON and OFF, it means either you are overloading the cable or you are powering from a low power USB-A port.
